Great place to work, Training is great and they do it all. Long haul, Regional Local. They haul mostly food and most of that is seafood, run West coast from Canada and Alaska to 11 western states. Newer trucks and great drivers. If you live in Washington check them out.

I actually think most of the stuff to AK is now barged and that is one of Lynden's offshoots. They really seem to care about their drivers which was just lip service from SWIFT. My first safety meeting was today and the new trucks are going all disk brakes. I'm also impressed with the E-Logs. Happy, Happy, Happy!

I actualy think service to AK will be done by Lynden. Its their speciality as they do the runs to and from AK multiple times per year.

I've heard as much as Carlile was touted because of the tv show, Lyden is the real boss of Alaska trucking and hauling. Carlile would love to be at least half the powerhouse Lyden is.

Depends on the job, lane, Local is $18.25 per hour, I'm going from memory but line haul single is about .42 per mile and about .28 for teams, but actual miles driven not estimated like SWIFT where I was shorted about 100 miles per week in heavy haul.
