Unbolt the arm from under 5th wheel plate and carry it inside shop to have them heat it up and beat it back like it was, or just buy a new arm to replace the one you bent?

    Puppage and jpgale22 Thank this.

Are you parked at T/stop with a shop if yes its Much cheaper to fix the bent part on weekend than to find new part if your in a large city call mon. and try to find part in stock at truck pro or your brand truck dealer, P/S if you can find a flatbed driver ask to use their wintch bar to stick thru handle and bend it back in place?

    jpgale22 Thanks this.

I knew before I even looked at the picture that it had to be a Jost.

Do not have it straightened. It only has to hang up a little bit and the fifth wheel won't lock all the way... or you won't be able to get it unlocked.

Have the handle replaced. It is not worth the possibility of dropping a trailer at highway speed.

Ruthless and Bean Jr. Thank this.
