They're hiring in my area (Indy), but the pay seems kind of low. One job posting says .48-.63 cpm or another says $45k-$57k per year. Any insight on this company?

They're a big company,I think the petroleum/lubricant drivers are paid hourly. They haul a lot of chemicals to Water Treatment Plants.Ive seen their trucks in Canada.
Mileage pay might seem low but they probably have good benefits.Best bet is to ask someone there in Indy about it,get more job details.

Great benefits here in ND. But you’ll have driver facing cameras

Brenntag has several different divisions and they all pay different. But guys seem to really like working for them and they promote from within. I've done 3rd party work for them with a previous company and I almost went to work for them. My old boss from that company actually went to work for them

I’ve actually worked at that location. It’s a hub so always plenty of work, mon-fri with around 0600 start time. Almost all hazmat, mostly vans with some guys that primarily run tankers. Health insurance isn’t very good, 401k is great 8-10% match and I’d imagine around $25-$27 an hour. Uniforms, boots, all that provided. It’s been a few years but they didn’t have any automatics then and the guy who buys the trucks at corporate states he won’t be buying any so im sure they’re still an all manual fleet.

Pulling a tanker with an automatic wouldn't be a lot of fun. Might have something to do with that decision. Pulling a van with a manual wouldn't be either though.

Company I work for has almost all AMTs now. And mostly smooth bores. Once you get a handle on it, it’s cake.

Brenntag Mid-South has numerous "parts" to it. Is that ad for a local driver or an OTR driver? We work with Brenntag quite a lot and the OTR guys easily make 6 figures. There's more pay then just CPM. Local drivers in Indy are paid hourly I thought. Brenntag is huge and I can tell you there is a disconnect between the people postings jobs and the folks that manage the drivers. I wouldn't be surprised if the person who posted the job actually knew the difference between the front of the truck and the rear.
