So I’m having a heck of a time finding a couple brand new trucks so I’ve decided to take a look past Kenworth / Peterbilt.
Does anyone have any experience with these trucks?
I can definitely tell you the same spec in KW is $35,000 more than this truck with all the same guts ( engine, tranny, rear ends ) so it makes sense to me to buy this with a long warranty and still save some money.

I drive one, They really are not bad Trucks... .. love the dash layout. Its functional and feels solid all the switches are thought out. Very cold AC, and good visability.
However the factory Mirrors vibrate like hell and the passenger door spot mirror is made of plastic instead of metal and mounted on a single pedistal. I can almost get it to do a 360 on bumpy roads, We just fold ours up.
I dont know about all of them but the ones I have driven have pretty bad wind noise around the doors. Don't use your windshield washer if you're going down the highway the spray blows all over your mirrors and window due to the windshield design. Have a couple blind spots but no worse than a hood truck. They are pretty easy to work on and everything is layed out well under the hood. The driver temp gauges like to go out, and we've had some problems with the ABS system.
All ours are Navistar powered so I cant tell you much about the cummins. Though im sure its a much better powerplant. Cant say much about the ride as all of ours have hendrickson rubber block.
You must be from Canada? We cant get the 615 specced with a sleeper like that in the states to my knowledge, only daycabs. Though if if I was in the market for a for a heavy spec truck I would be all over that one you posted. -
What do they want for it -
I’m working in ND but looking for trucks in Canada because I’m having a heck of a time trying to get a decent priced one in the US.
They are asking 190k CAD but willing to drop 15k off it.
So roughly $155k USD -
I just bought a new 520 daycab 2 months ago and put log bunks on it. Seems to be a good truck, love the 605 power here in the mountains. Mine has the Hendrickson 52k air ride and it is way smoother than the rubber block and stands up just as good with a load on it.
So far my only issues are a vibration in the front end when loaded at 45-50 mph, and the trailer ABS comes on any time you hook a trailer to it. -
Well, I pulled the trigger on two of these.
Brand new with 5year / 500k mile warranty.
Got them for $150k each, that’s a heck of a lot cheaper than I was planning for the new Peterbilt I had ordered!m1lkman, black_dog106 and Chieftains Thank this. -
Obviously no one cares but here’s the new girls!
-
If they came with a bigger sleeper, I'd want one for an OTR truck. They're beautiful, imo.
Chieftains Thanks this. -

Congrats! They are beautiful.
