Hmm, Bossuzzo, Bozzuto, what are the odds? At any rate, I'm sure I will find out. Just hoping it doesn't turn into a multi day fiasco with rescheduled stops.

You know they have 2 deaths A MINUET from opiates overdoses out there?
Don't push any garbage down! -
Bozzutos is a crap shoot. I used to haul their store brand soda to them. The girl at the counter refused my load one night even though there were firm orders to accept those loads no matter what the issue was. I got paid to go back to PA and return the next night, and I never left the rest area on 84. When I pulled other loads in there, they'd take a while, but it's groceries in the Northeast. Better than Brattleboro or White Rose, but not as quick and easy as Stop N Shop.

Haven't been there in a while. But, yes, they are slow. When I've hauled there, I almost always got detention (depending on how long they take). Lumper was paid as well, so I didn't mind. Many times I'd be there for a whole reset.
You park off to the right, and then have to walk all the way into the office. The 'guard' doesn't do anything when you first show up. And don't pull up to the guard shack, they'll make you back out. There's enough room for about 10 trucks by the guard shack (blindside 45s). I forget the lumper, but I don't think it was Capstone, it was one of the three-letter-initials groups. But, yeah. I'd actually prefer C&S in Hatfield over Buzzuttos (either Cheshire or North Haven, both suck). -

Don't walk CALL this#calls into rec ofc--give em info&ur phone# they'll call u when they have a door--
Then ck in w/rec--tell em You will do it yourself--they have jacks--but you've been around--lunch $$$ will usually work with one of the lumpers to yank it--then physically get a receiver--play the game--b nice blah blah--usually ck in&walk pprwk back to ofc w/you
Up to you--if you let lumpers do it--they really don't mess around--but only 2)3 actual receivers to ck in--& they go back to ofc after EACH load and are given the next load on the pile--thus the ridiculous wait times....JPenn Thanks this. -
I had a 3 am there a while ago, and think I remember being out by 7-7:30.

Well, that was less painful than I imagined. Called the number (thanks olhand), got a door before I even turned into the driveway. Decided I'd unload it myself, and proceeded to split 13 pallets into 45. Took them what felt like forever to check it, but it turned out they were hemming and hawing about some stuff they wanted to send back (wound up keeping it).
So, in at 6, out at 9:30, and conned the broker into giving me $200 more for my labor into the bargain.
The lumper is FHI, by the way. My next favorite right up there with Capstone.'olhand Thanks this. -
One of the worst places you can deal with! When you pull in for an evening appt, you'll have to do a tight blindside back into a staging area. Typically a full lot so you'll get the one open spot, which is typically the most brutal to get into. Once you get called in, you walk to the receiving office and deal with some of the biggest jerks you'll ever encounter. Once you get backed in, get comfy. I NEVER waited there less than 9 hours. I'd get backed in at 10 pm and wouldn't get done til 7:30-9 am. Outside of Western Beef in Queens, NY, my least favorite load I ever had and I got that load probably 8-10 times...

Yeah here my 2 cents on these lames. I picked up a trailer to get home that was T-Called in Ohio. I knew I was going to be late but that's not my fault because I wasn't the one originally on the load. Anyways I drove all through the night and turns out they did take me because it was a kraft load and very important. So, the guy at the desk is like "must be nice to just take these loads at this time of day." I wanted to just slap that fat peice of donkey #### and say why it was late but I let him have his glory. Then, they got me unloaded and they called me from "Cheshire, CT" displayed on my iPhone and was told " come in your paper work is ready." Turns out it was shift change for the unloading company so one of those guys pranked me because when I got up to the desk " your paper work isn't ready" then I have her the number and they wouldn't pick up. So that right there just shows what kind of immature losers work there at that dump.
