Look at several truck stops and had hard time finding anything bigger than a 1500 watt. Finally found one in TN. at Love's $229, $254 with tax. Then same evening at the Flying J for $199 plus $15 mail in rebate.
Wish I could return it, but Love's does not accept any returns on Electronics. Seems to me a lot of difference in price for identical brands.
I don't mean to be cheap, just wondering what others would do?
Bought new Inverter from Love's to find it 45$ cheaper at Flying J

I bought this instead http://www.amazon.com/Cobra-CPI-2575-Power-Inverter/dp/B00126K8DA
Runs everything very well. Also went to local car audio store and bought enough 4 gauge wire for it. The Monster brand, the good stuff. I am using 150 amp fuses. It has 2, 4 gauge wires to batteries with fuse in each. Was well worth the money.CondoCruiser Thanks this. -
Have you thought to go back to Love's and mention this to a manager and see if they will price match against Flying J if it is the same brand/model?
-
It pays to shop especially at truck stops. Each one has different items on sale at different times. You can see their sales online but they aren't impressive.
I've been all over the Loves website and there is no price match guarantee.
They do not refund electronics but with the original box they will exchange defective electronics for another one or any other merchandise. 229 hotdogs?
Love's is only known for cheaper priced maps and competitive fuel programs.
CPI 1575? $99.24 on Amazon $144 gets the cable and fuse block too.

Ask FlyinPJ for the rebate form. It might be from the manufacturer and you can still use it. -
Today I found it for $199 at another Love's. Talked to the manager and was told they are now on sell and if I'd waited a day, I would've saved the difference. And they do not price match, or give back the difference for a sale.
Also I tried to shop around but the first 5 truck stops did not have any units over 1000 amp.
Guess my loss. -
Note to self: Don't buy any electronics at Love's. Check.
-
If it's one of those big yellow road pros sell it well it still works and buy you a good one off Amazon. Everyone who has ever bought a road Pro from the truck stop, myself included, has had there's fail within less than a year that I have talked to. Even the manager at my local pilot had one and she told me the return rate is extremely high
-
Bummer to hear that now as Love's has a no return policy on electronics. How would you suggest I sell it without mentioning the reason. Guess I'll just figure on it lasting very short time.
-
"Got a bigger one"...
-
That would be lying or dishonest.
