I would think these would be easy to find but I can't find one anywhere. Does anyone know if any of the major truck stops carry these?

Most of them have one form or another. One of the truck stops with a chrome shop will usually carry them. Or you can get on line and order one from the Iowa 80 truck stop. I do not know if they will ship to Canada though, you will have to check.

And if you cross at Windsor to come into the states, you might try the Detroiter at exit 32 or 34, around there, off of I-75 in Michigan.

There was also the old Wagon Wheel Truck Stop down by Toronto somewhere off of the 401(?), they used to have stuff like that. I don't even know if it is still there.

Hadn't thought about chrome shop but that makes sense. Wish I'd been thinking of this when I stopped at the Iowa 80 a few months back.

I see those at alot of TS you just have to look, and yeah most of the big ones carry them. They also have another kind it's a lil bigger meaning longer than the one you show.

Or do what I do. Go to walmart . Buy the thick welcome mat; artificial turf looking one. Comes in black or green. Buy some big bar ties. (plastic zip ties) Then make about 8 or 10 of them for about the price you would pay for one in a truck stop.:biggrin_25525:

Good thinking NoTarps that is pretty much what I got for $20 at a TS.:yes2557: They even came with the zip ties.

I thought of getting a good stiff brush and making one.

I saw the longer ones with the zip ties at a ts but it looked like the bristles were too short to be of much use.

Home Depot or Lowes or Ace. Astro turf door mat. cut to width of step. Add zip ties. I have part on top and bottom steps. Pre-clean on lower, finish on upper. If you are off road much this is great improvement on amount of mud tracked into cab.
