5-6 years old. I was you'd the pump isn't strong enough to run the blower.

run the liquid pump off the Hydro and PTO the blower just need the correct hydraulic motor for the product pump...if it runs a compressor and/or jackshaft, it should be able to turn a product pump, they usually run slower than a compressor.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I already run a product pump, compressor and Jack shaft on hydraulic. I was going to keep the hydraulic system and add a shaft & pto to run the blower if I add it.

Just make sure the PTO is the correct speed ratio for your trans/engine to spin the blower at the required RPM's, especially if you will vacuum DB on...which makes you more versatile.

The odd vacuum jobs can pay $$$ for something simple as vac plastic from a wet rail car pocket into the DB which drys it and the blow it back into a dry pocket,,,

Or the place that fired a guy on Friday who came back in on the weekend and broke glass bottles into the all of the silos. Took multiple trucks a few days to vac that place out...all by the hour

If anybody can help me with this I was wondering if a blower for dry bulk hauling can be mounted on a automatic transmission semi and same question with hydropak for hauling trailer dump. My truck is a auto and if i can't mount and operate a blower or hydropak I'm thinking about selling it to get a 13 speed manual

As long as the transmission has mounting provisions for a PTO, yes. We have automated transmissions in our fleet that have PTOs.

But I don't think a Hydropack is what you need for a dump trailer.

    What's a DB?

Pardon my ignorance, I've never had a unit that was vacuum capable.

    dry bulk

Vacuum wet into trailer and blow it back to a dry compartment in the railcar drys the wet material.

We were outside the plant unloading area with a pickup full of hose strung out.
