In the picture, it looks like the blower is attached to the tank? This is the first time I've seen it not attached directly to the truck. How does it work?

Curious myself, is it just the blower? Or is there hookups for the piping/hydraulic hoses and pto?

    Woodys Thanks this.

No clue. The trucks have pto and the hydraulic fittings, so I'm assuming they connect to the blower somehow??

Not to sound stupid here, but is it just the air intake/filter assembly and he has to run a hose from it to the blower on the truck?

Do you have a picture of the whole trailer? I suspect that pipe on the side goes to the motor/compressor.... i could also be dead wrong.

    Woodys Thanks this.

If the blower isnt driven hydraulically from a PTO/WETKIT on the truck then its most likely driven by a small diesel engine.

We had 2 pneumatics with a 3cylinder 27 hp perkins and a compressor mounted on them. We used them to haul flyash or boiler ash from co-generation plants for soil stabilzation. We could drop the trailer on the jobsite and the spreader trucks could fill up without us being there.
You could also use them to pressurize rail cars for unloading but we didn't do that much.
