I have a 06 Cummins ISX that I have had about 7 months. Got 818,000 miles on it. I'm starting to get more noticeable blowby on it but it seems more like steam than smoke and kind of smells like coolant. Anybody know what my issue could be. It will also have a drop of oil fall every couple of minutes. I'll attach a vid if I can. Thanks guys!

Are you loosing coolant or oil? Get an oil sample done, that is the best place to start, it can tell you if there is something going on with your motor that shouldn't be.
-
Add coolant every couple of months and add a gallon of oil between oil changes.
-
Its best to buy a oil sample kit at truck parts store and send off a sample of oil before next oil change just to see if any coolant is in the oil, you can send your e/mail with kit to help speed up the news?
PS If you see any milky oil on fill cap its a bad signLast edited: Dec 5, 2017

Mine is an 07 isx had 300k on an inframe was doing same thing, injector cups were leaking on head was replacing head and found that all liners were scored. After inspecting pistons had 3 of them with the rings lined up so another inframe.
