picked up a load of powerade here in Chattanoooga last friday, 2-17-2012. scheduled delivery at BJs wholesale in burlinton NJ for monday 2-20-2012 at 6am. got caught in the snow in wytheville virginia at 4:30 on 2-19-2012. sat trapped on the interstate from 4:30 PM to 10:20 PM due to a jacknived rig. it caused me to miss my appointment.

in a nut shell, the problem was because i missed my appointment due to the wreck, it ran me way out of hours. my problem i know.

    BUT

while i was in route monday morning, the broker and dispatch were all over the phone with these jokers only to be told that delivery scheduling was done VIA email with a response by the end of the work day.

im 40 minutes out, get a call that the delivery was not going to be taken till wed evening. dispatch was told to tell me to go on in and they would take it asap. guard shack informs me that i can park on site, that the delivery was for tuesday at 1700 hours.

i checked in tuesday morning at 10:30, paged to a dock door at 2:05 and then got to sit through shift change. workers sent to the trailer at 3:15, got a reload an hour away in pedrickstown nj that closes at 6pm.

got my paperwork at 4:30 and hauled the mail down the 295 and made it with 15 minutes to spare at the reload.

point of this story is by god, if you ever get sent there, DO NOT BE LATE. you will be at their mercy as to when you will be allowed to dock. this place runs 24/7 and sees a massive amount of trucks. it makes a walmart DC look like a fruit stand.

never ever be late there. period. lesson learned LOL

Yessir...worst part of that place was that it seemed I always went there when it was 20 degrees and windy, and you have to take that walk....
