As long my current dispatcher doesn't leave. I should hopefully be fine. Based on what other Hartt drivers have said. Who I got is the best. She knows the time I like driving and locations. I do otr loads with regional pay

I just realized something. Does this mean that I'm technically driving for a mega again?

Yes, but Bison is not bad. I have been with them 16 years. Are they perfect. No. Have had bad days, but overall, not bad to work for.

Our pathes may have crossed during that time.
Where are you based out of?

If Bison goes into the western states. I wonder if Hartt would start going in that direction. Furthest west I go is Wisconsin. I would stay out longer if can go more out west. Not now with winter weather

Not sure how far west you will be able to go. they now own Britten Transport in ND and H O Wolding in WI, which are being rolled together into Bison USA. When I was OTR I remember loading in NC and delivering directly to BC, and picking up in TX and going to Calgary AB.

Those times are long gone. Never happens anymore to deliver a load out of NC directly to the west. Everything is dropped in Winnipeg and hauled west on the pikes. At least we central drivers are losing a lots of miles to that nonsense. On the other hand, it brings us home ever 8-10 days.
The last time that I was in the lower BC area, was I think in '14. Fine with me. Now I have a reason not to go.

I think the Bison US division may stay focused on the inter US market. I don't think that a lots will change after that merger for the existing companies. Except the equipment on new orders.

Well as long they still got apus and they don't put in driver cameras or drop our speed. I'm fine with whatever trucks they get. I do think might have the same types of trucks though. We currently got shakers, internationals and Pete's. Had volvos but stopped getting new ones. If it's about trailers would be nice if we started hauling refers. Because it's currently all dry van. Got flat beds but I never touched them.
