If its the Twin Falls ID plant, then they don't have it together. Plant has been open since Dec and I've been there twice.
first time took 5 hours. Bills didn't match the seal numbers which I caught before leaving. Later on Kroger threatened to reload me, kick me off the property and reschedule delivery when they realized that there were no product descriptions or useable ID numbers with quantities listed on the bills. They Bills where printed entirely with Chobani's in hous tracking numbers. I was 5 min from being reloaded before we got a hold of someone to fax the correct info.
2nd time 2 hour load time. I was overweight on tandems for CA. Bright side was the plant has decent scales. Turn around to get reworked. 4 hours later, I rescale. 6k lbs lighter and bills that indicate nothing from the load was cut (in either pieces or weight). Supervisor discovers they unloaded me, shift changed, loaded me with someone else's load and left my load on the dock. I could have been hours down the road before they discovered the problem if it wasn't for me paying attention.
so yeah, for a company that is only been around 6 years and now dominates the yogurt market over Yoplait, and Dannon, makes you wonder how they did it. -
thanks for the heads up I won't be buying that brand anymore.

Good afternoon folks, i was curious about Chobani myself in fact i love their product and i think its the main reason they came up on top so quick, they make some pretty amazing stuff there. I'm actually a bit surprised about the negative comments on both Chobani and Shram Brokers because Chobani has an older yogurt plant in New Berlin, NY which i think is about 6yrs old, and the thing is we've been pulling their loads east to west for the past 4 yrs or so with Shram, and about 2 months ago they opened up this new plant in Twin Falls, ID which kinda stinks because we were able to work out some great lanes both ways with them in the past few years and you all know how painful it can be to sit there and search for loads especially if you have 10 or more trucks so for us it was the greatest thing to work with them year round. Now that they are doing west coast loads from Twin Falls, ID we are struggling a bit but they still give us few shuttle loads a week from New Berlin, NY to Twin Falls, ID and then reload us from there to CA, OR, WA and sometimes to WY or AZ as well. As far as loading yes they can take a while sometimes since they are Live loading first come first serve places but I'm sure most of you guys who have been in business for a while know how long live loading places can take sometimes especially meat loads
, so they are still very good compared to some of those places. With Shram in fact there is a great guy named Russ who we've been dealing with for 4 years now, never had a payment issue, always pays us on time whether it's quick-pay or regular pay they never go past 25 days and for us that covers everything even long loading time every once in a while.
Long story short, I recommend them both to everyone in both NY and ID because we believe they will bring some good business to ID drivers, in fact Russ told us they have a brand new 1,000,000sq facility there in ID which obviously means they will serve more then just west coast so i suggest for everyone to build up good relationship with them because it looks like to me they will be huge providing year round freight for great rates. Keep up the good work Chobani and Shram! Thank you for all your freight and great Tasting yogurt!
NavigatorWife Thanks this. -

Threatening someone about money before you get paid ftom a regular paying customer is usually a bad idea.i understand your frustration, but most times I find finesse works best.
