This post is for tanker drivers. I posted a review on Google and since it said everything that I wanted to say I'm just going to repost it here.

I have no issue with the staff that took my truck in Karen was awesome. However, I'm going to warn anyone that has to have work done on their transmission, and has an existing hydraulic pump connected to the PTO on their transmission, so I'm basically talking to tanker drivers. Beware! My truck was in velocity for 3 months waiting on a transmission when they finally got the transmission and installed it and I came to pick it up it looked like everything was working properly although I did not run my pump until I was going to use it in 2 days. When I did use my plump gear oil spewed from the PTO hydraulic pump area all over the ground at my customer. Obviously the spiel by itself has caused a huge amount of consternation because Phil's cost a lot to clean up. But more than that when I took my truck back to velocity they punted the ball saying that they had nothing to do with what happened. Now let's be clear you must remove the PTO when you are replacing the transmission and my pump was working just fine before they worked on the transmission that it had this catastrophic failure the first time I try to use it after taking it out of their shop speaks volumes. If you think it through they were never going to own any mistake that they made because they can't fix it since they don't work on PTOs like that that means if they accept responsibility for ####ing something up in my truck they have to send it out to someone else they're not about to do that unless you force them to and you really can't force them to unless you know beyond any doubt that they are the culprit. Needless to say I'm going to be going to polar pack and having them inspect the hydraulic pump thoroughly if I receive information that it was installed or reinstalled in properly I will update this post

Sorry to read about the lousy experience you had with them. That made quite a mess, and, of course, if a tanker leaks anything everybody panics and it ends up costing a fortune to clean it up. Hopefully you can get this straightened out quickly, that shop should man up and pay for the repairs. Good luck with this!

Why did it take Velocity three months to find you a transmission? Is it your truck or a company rig?
