Beware of Polar Industries

I wish I had done some research before I moved a load for them, I've been waiting 140 days for payment. I've sent numerous reminders regarding the invoice which go unanswered, when I called accounts payable 2 months ago I was told the cheque would be in the mail the next week, of course nothing showed up. Now when I call it goes straight to voice mail which I can only assume my number has been blocked. I called the so called president of the company , Mark, and guess what? My call was unanswered and went straight to voicemail where I left a message saying I had enough with getting the run around and I was going to send the amount owing to collections, I left my phone number and he never bothered to call to straighten it out so it is now in the hands of a collections company. From what I've been reading on the internet they are famous for not paying owner operators that have moved loads for them and I noticed their credit rating has been dropping like a rock the past few months. It's a piss poor way to run a company but a great way to get people to stop hauling anything for them.

 

Well it took over 150 days and a collection agency but I finally got paid.
