BEWARE of DUNCAN and SON LINES

I want drivers to know that Duncan and son Lines in Buckeye AZ have no scruples. I worked for them for 7 years, and the thanks that I received was to be set up and fired. There was no investigation, never once did anyone ask my side...until an Administrative Law Judge ruled in my favor that they had no evidence what so ever to fire me, or say and document false charges against me. Believe me...once you get on the wrong side of particular management individuals you are done. Even if they have to lie and make up false stories to do it. Beware of Duncan and Son Lines.



Duncan and Sons wrongfully terminated me as well. They even appealed my unemployment, but the Judge ruled in my favor. You can dispute on your DAC report the reason for termination. But unless you have evidence other than hearsay you will not win any case.

 

Duncan and Son Lines fired me without following their own policy as stated in Workplace Violence Prevention Policy. One particular employee who already has a history of making complaints on co workers made complaints on me and the HR/Safety manager fired me without even doing any investigation or gathering of evidence. In fact, when Duncan and Son Lines appealed the benefits I received from unemployment, the Judged ruled in my favor. Not only did the company fire me like that, but reported on DAC incorrect information. How can a company be allowed to make false statements, and insulting remarks even entertain the sheriff department with unsupported allegations and not have to correct themselves. I think maybe further legal action should help. Any one have any suggestions or comments?

 

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me...I am in the process of retaining a civil lawyer for the defamation I have suffered. However I am past the time statute for wrongful termination. I will post my progress.

 

The money was always good but the attitude is "dime a dozen".

 

As long as you are a yes man to "do me a favor" you are ok, but the minute you say no, then you become "a problem driver". They got caught red handed in lies this time...and the Queen Bee in safety should be made to answer why she did not follow her own policy and procedures. Also I think she should be responsible to clear off the false info on DAC.
