DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT TAKE A FEDEX CONTRACTOR JOB THAT DEAL WITH THIS TERMINAL!!!!!! This is in regards to their Rialto location. This terminal has left a bad taste in the mouths of many drivers and contractors. The wait time at this location for freight going back north, south and east is unbelievably long, 4-24hrs sitting time unless you are a California contractor. Many truckers have sat back and watched the office workers blatantly take freight from drivers going north, south and east and give it to 2 Moreno, CA contractors I know for sure. It’s like they are being paid to make sure the California drivers of certain contract companies get the most freight FIRST thing in the morning heading back North, south and east while the other contract drivers even those that are dedicated sit and wait for more freight to come in. This is unfair practice and should be addressed immediately. There are contract drivers who are not paid to sit yet they sit for sometimes a whole day. They take all the morning freight, give it out to their California contractors and make all other drivers of reputable companies sit and wait for more freight to come in. They put your name down on a list and never call you and when they do call they are rude as hell. The excuse they give to all drivers they cause to sit is that they are waiting for more freight to come in. Then after 12pm they tell you check back later that night. Why is this terminal operating if freight is so low every day of the week? Why are so many drivers having to sit even when they arrive earlier than the California teams who are then given priority over every other driver sitting waiting for freight at the terminal? Contractors have lost amazing truck drivers due to the unfair operations at this terminal which is unacceptable. Also, Fedex makes certain contractors stuck to a slow 65 mph governor while certain contractors like in CA TN & NC don’t have to stick to the 65 mph rule. Why is that? This terminal, COMPANY and its operations need to be looked into and fast.

I was wondering why Fed Wrex Ground contractors have been driving so slow lately. It’s probably a good thing.

If your not being paid to wait logic dictates you will wait more in trucking. I get paid by the hr now & I never wait. See how that works?
When I worked the LTL docks in the 80's we had beepers & were on call 24/7 because freight fluctuates depending on many factors
As far as who gets the loads may depend on many factors you don't know. My last company had a color coding system based on metrics from each driver. While some drivers got treated good others? not so much. When your paid by the mile they stage you & dispatch you how they see fit. They have little incentive to do otherwise unless it costs them. Your like a dude sitting at labor ready waiting to get called for an assignment There is no more first in first out anymore.
