Not sure where to post this but this looks as good as any. Im looking to buy an XM radio receiver.

Something i can plug into the stereo via aux cord, and mount on the dash or windshield with suction cups or other temporary fashion.

Are there receivers where you don't have to string wires to an antennae outside the vehicle? Maybe just something on the dash next to the windshield?

    Thanks for the help.

You could lay the antanaee on the dash but you’ll lose signal from time to time.
It’s easy to stick the little magnetic antanaee outside.
I just bought a new unit at a Pilot, they have a great rebate on them right now. I got the Onyx Plus. It’s ok.
    .
Just make sure you get a unit with pause and replay so you can pause a talk show while you’re outside or replay a good song.

IMHO, go to TA and get the Onyx Plus pro pack kit. I have an Onyx Plus and am really happy with it. The pro pack TA selld has the upgraded "trucker antenna" and a suction cup mount all included. You are gonna need to run a wire out for an external antenna. You will lose signal a frustrating amount of time if you just put the little disk antenna in the windshield. I second Tuckers comment about the pause and replay feature. Its a very handy feature.

I know this thread is a bit out of date, but I wanted to add that you can get SiriusXM at discounted rate by calling customer service and telling them you want to cancel your service. They will offer discounts to keep you.
I pay per year and when I got the email that it was automatically going to renew, I called and asked what the price was going to be. When they said almost $300, I told them to cancel my account.
I will be paying $99+tax for the next year’s worth of service.

    tucker Thanks this.
