I've tried all kinds of work gloves (Kinco, Mechanix etc) but I find a lot of them wearout quickly or are bulky to the point were it becomes hard to do things like short chain your chains one handed and such.
I was wondering what other guys and gals were using? Maybe you've found some that holds up a decent amount of time? Let us know!

I use leather gloves I buy a dozen at a time from the local flea market. They last a couple months usually.
NorthVTHauler and brian991219 Thank this. -
I don't waste money on name brand gloves anymore. Between grease oil and wear it's easier and cheaper to use the cheap rubber palm ones and just throw them out every few weeks.
NorthVTHauler, tech10171968 and rolls canardly Thank this. -
Skinny - ya beat me to it.
I found Harbor Freight has XX Large black rubber palmed spandex-like material gloves on sale for $1.99 a pair. They Last remarkably well.
I buy them 6 pair at a time. Even good on sharp sheetmetal.NorthVTHauler and skinnyb01 Thank this. -
C.E. Schmidt Leather Palm Gloves at Tractor Supply Co.
I personally use those. I get months out of a pair.NorthVTHauler Thanks this. -
West Chester Men's Grain Deerskin Leather Driver Gloves at Tractor Supply Co.
These are the style I use except I get mine for $4-5 a pair a dozen at a time. -
I've been using those cat brand gloves that I get at Walmart. Usually get about 6 months out of a pair running flatbed

In the summer time I use Wells Lamont rubber gloves that I get in three packs at Northern Tool or Harbor Freight. I usually wear them for two or three weeks and then throw them out. I like the rubber gloves because they grip better.
In the winter time there is no easy way around the cold temperatures. I try to use rubber gloves that are oversized that I can wear some thin warm liners underneath without getting too bulky.
I usually keep several pairs in the winter time because sooner or later they all get wet.Last edited: Aug 23, 2017

For winter I use Atlas vinyl gloves. Even in negative degree weather they stay flexible and warm. The only down side is I they start to stink if left damp inside. I cut the top and bottom off a water bottle and stick in them to make sure they get air to dry.

I use the red grease monkey rubber palmed gloves from sams club. It's about $10 a pack and it's 12 pairs in there if I'm not mistaken. A pair usually lasts me a month
