Sorry your opinion is garbage.
You work for Daddy. So daddy bought his little girl a truck and gives her special privileges. Because his little girl can’t hack it in the real world without daddy giving her special privileges she’d crash and burn.
So you call people snowflakes who don’t want cameras on them. You say you don’t mind if Daddy puts one on you. Well most of us don’t work for Daddy. In my case I work for people who seem obsessed with getting drivers into trouble, work for someone who’s like that and not daddy then come talk to me.
You say daddy is retiring soon and people will work for you princess ??
I don’t think so. Most companies go belly up once dad retires and the spoiled kids take over.
Nobody will want to work for you because you didn’t earn it. Daddy gave it to you.

Glob of Vaseline on the lense. Like a boxers face. Then wipe of after your shift.
Shackdaddy Thanks this. -
Trucks I used to drive, some had Curtains to cover Front Glass and/or A Curtain to close off Sleeper.
Cameras "Watching/Recording" Drivers whether or not "On Duty" is of no use regarding Privacy.
IF I were still Rolling O.T.R., I would close the Windscreen Curtains when shut down for a 10 and the "recording" could well continue despite "applications of recording irritation".
A "Screaming Meenie" would do well to dissuade "recording" when Driver OFF DUTY, specifically when Driver NOT in Truck.
There are viable and useful methods to annoy the annoyers and the Best Way is: NOT AGREE TO PRIVACY VIOLATION as well acquire Copies of Aggreement(s) and Legal Proof of Company Compliance, otherwise check other Companies or stay away from Trucking.
Thanks Fer Yer Time!!

Without this sticker, you'll never see me drive one of these trucks.
Driver-facing cameras are used more for disciplining drivers (IE: Money out of their checks) than for any valid safety purpose. Our company trucks all have the Lytx camera system installed with the inward lens deactivated and no audio feed. We have used the footage (records based upon g-force) numerous times to defend our drivers when someone crashed in front of them and tried to blame them.Shackdaddy and Mototom Thank this. -
I’d get a cheap one and attach it to your dispatchers computer screen next time you’re at the HQ
