So I have been through Cincinnati before but its always been in the middle of the night. So my question is: when south bound on I-75 what is the best way to get through or around Cincinnati (ending up southbound on 75 in KY) at about 9 or 10 in the morning? I don't want to fight traffic more than I need to... Is the 275 better than 75? I'm not concerned about mileage so much as traffic congestion and time. Thanks in advance.

I-275 and run it around... MUCH better route if your not pressed for time and don't want to fight the BS. TBH it's not that much different in time anyway...

Just like any major city... If I don't need to go thru it, I won't. Crashville's 840, Richmond's 295. DC... Well, anyway... :p

That's what I was thinking also... But like I said I've never run that area in the daylight before.

There is almost always an accident causing a different way around to be better, it's a crap shoot. Turn on the CB and let it be the guiding light. ;)

Yeah the CB was crackling today in Chicago about a wreck... Think it was west bound 80. Always a wreck somewhere that throws a wrench in the works.

West side is better unless they are still screwing with that bridge.

Try an airplane. 75 unless there is an accident, than take the loop. Do you have a CB radio? Try using it. Hopefully you will get a response.

If you go after 10 am you can take 75 , most of the time it’s good. Anything before 9 am and after 3:00 pm I go around the west side of town. Ohio DOT patrols I-275 close to Indiana border on west side of town FYI

I live in Cincinnati...Saturday morning you should be okay running 75 straight thru. 275 is, I forget, like 20 to 25 miles around to 75 again, but nice thing is you avoid the dangerous cut in the hill on 75. I'd run 275, if you have the time. Smoother and right now less construction, cause 75 is all tore up.
