Best Trucking Apps?

That's about it, nothing else is very good. Weigh My Truck Cat app is good. You can pay and get scale ticket without going inside truck stop. Copilot GPS navigation ok but don't need it anymore.

The TA/Petro truck stop app is nice for getting your shower reservation from can od truck and paid parking if you need it

 

The pilot app was good for fueling the truck but now shower reservation option yet

 

Fuel Book will give you the cheapest places to fuel on your route with fuel tax in or without it. It also will factor in your company specific discount.

 

If you want something for logs “Big Road App” is user friendly and can be used for ELD (with purchase of course). Great free log electronically though..

 

I like the "Park My Rig" and AllStays apps although just use site for AllStays.

 

Park My Rig is the app version of the book. Shows parking spots within 30 min, 1 hr, 2 hrs. And so on. AllStays what I use it for is list Walmarts and whether you can park at them or not.

 

Trucker path is not complete. I've run across at least two parking places, a large rest stop and a truck stop, that were not on the app at all. And then I've gone to a truck stop that it said had "lots of spots" and it was a closed truck stop that, while you could park there, was completely dark and abandoned. It had two 4 wheelers there with headlights on when I got there. I kept the doors locked and they eventually left together. I was scared to death. In the daytime it would be ok, at night, no way. Looking outside the window looked like a black hole. I put the headlights on just to have a little place to walk my dog to let her pee. I did my 30 minutes and GTF otta there.

 

I hope you reported this to the app. They get the info from users.
