This is my first post here but have been following the postings on this site for months. I almost have my home life lined out to accommodate taking the leap into over the road by the end of the year. I've researched many forums and decided this forum will be my go to because from what I've seen most of the people on here act more professional than the other sites I've checked out.
My question is where do drivers get the things they need other than a truck stop? Things like in cab security or new gadgets that are actually useful? I find it hard to believe I can't find a one stop shop site for this profession. I am sure there numerous sites or brick and morter stores that a seasoned driver knows of. Any plugs or recommendations would be most appreciated.
Best trucker gear stores???

I think most drivers "In Cab Security" consists of a tire thumper, and/or a dog. And I'm not aware of any single store that caters specifically in "Trucker Gear." What do you consider "Useful?" Harbor Frieght is where I get my tools I carry with me on the road. Sporting good stores for the camping/survival gear. Truck stops for other various trinkets and do-dads. CB shops for all my CB radio needs. Wal-Mart for groceries.
