It's more about the running gear than truck BRAND ie... Engine , tranny , rear ends etc.
    Cummins were notoriously bad

Why don’t you sell him one of yours?

I know you got some reliable trucks.

Best truck is the truck with the lowest engine hours to mileage ratio and this is especially important to an emissions truck. I'm not sure where that guy that guy gets the idea of Cummins being bad engines.

From 2009 to 2012? they were straight up garbage.
I didn't put the dates in my original post because I wasn't completely sure of the years. ( still not )

And that info comes from previous posters that have confirmed the many problematic issues Cummins had during a specific time period.
And those poster also corroborated what a 15 yr Cummins tech had told me about Cummins motors.

By the way I never said all Cummins were.
Might want to invest in a reading comprehension course.

When I see these type of “threads” pop up, it shows that they have absolutely no idea what there in for.

I would think a freightliner cascadia with a Detroit dd15. 2014 or 15 would be my opinion on lowest maintenance costs and can be worked on by just about everyone ... Cummins says they have the bugs worked out on the newer engines but not going to chance it with my money. ... volvos are too hard to get worked on ... pacars well not me either
