Not to pat TA/Petro on the back but they are truck stops or travel centers whatever you wish to call them. They at least provide as close to a complete truck stop rather than a stop and go like Pilot does.

Granted they are not the best restaurants out on the highway but they are not the Ritz. When so many drivers decided to start eating and cooking in their trucks and not their restaurants profits go down so they will close their inhouse restaurants and rent the space to other restaurant chains.

Pilot did just that when they took over thevFlying J stops years ago. It only makes a profitable arrangement for the larger travel center chains. Besides it really doesn't matter to most of the "modern truck drivers" who is the restaurant in any truck stop because they eat in their personal diner on wheels.

More truck drivers would patronize their restaurants if the food were decent rather
than the fast food crap that plagues them.

The skillet most aren't bad, For good food, Romines, TA Morris Illinois The locals wait in line, you turn left to the drivers section .Haven't been there in
Years, but iit was north of Miami in the glades, open air, good bar , food was good, prepared in the house and brought out side to the the tables, under a little top, there were chickens , and a few birds flying around. Wisconsin, area, Pinecone restaurants, Madison has one, good food and lots of it.
