Which truck is best for frequent trips to Alaska? Start in Seattle. At any time of the year and regardless of the weather. I received recommendations to abandon T680, VNL, 579 and the new cascade. They advise taking a closer look at old trucks. These are: FLD, Century, WS4900 and 379. I don't like the w900. Although he is called the best

Thanks for your interest in the topic. I went to Alaska with my partner and noticed that there weren't a lot of new trucks in British Columbia. There are still many FLDs and Classic XLs available. One Canadian told me that it's best not to drive trucks with side fairings on the Dalton Highway. Is a gravel road really that bad for them?... VNL gets very bad reviews from the northern provinces of Canada. They say the suspension can't hold up and the radiator mount breaks off!!! Honestly, I don't want VNL 2018. The number of problems with their electronics really scares me. But I might not mind a well-preserved 1999 VNL with a Cummins N14 engine.
I saw Lynden trucks there. I plan to talk to them -
TX2Day, lone_wolf88 and Opendeckin Thank this.
