Tired of paying cash for tolls. Most are gone now and automatic tolling is a pita. So....Which toll transponder should I be looking at for Texas east. Most of my running being east coast canada to the carolinas, back home or up to ontario.
Ez pass is the norm but pre pass and a bunch more say they save cash? Which is the best?
Thanks.
Best toll transponder for Texas east.

Prepass and the Texas "T" tag.
Keepforgettingmypassword and Elroythekid Thank this. -
My company uses Bestpass. It covers all scales and all tolls. It covers all DOT scales, tolls in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Colorado. We still run EZpass for the northeast. I think those two will pretty much cover you anywhere.

I had the EZ Pass and it may have gotten better, but I now use the BestPass. If you go to their website and click on the map it will give you specific information for each state.

Does bestpass give you any discount?

I don’t pay a monthly fee and pay a discounted rate on the toll crossing I use on a regular basis. The exact discounts you would receive I am not certain about.Keepforgettingmypassword, Elroythekid and blairandgretchen Thank this. -
The company I'm with uses PrePass. I run out of TX to the NW back to the Midwest and back to TX.
Elroythekid Thanks this. -
I get half off the monthly rate ($30?) with Landstar.
They’ve gone to bat for me a couple of times for disputed charges.
Customer service is good on my dealings.Keepforgettingmypassword, Elroythekid, Banker and 1 other person Thank this. -
