I'm looking for some tires for spread axle flatbed. I've been rinning bandag recaps for several years. This set is cracking, chunks falling off, uneven wear. I'm ready to try something new.
Speedco has double coin, Yokohama, goodyear(shallow tread that I didn't like)
I'm looking to replace all 4 on front axle.
Recaps would run me $1200
Double coin $1500
Yokohama $1800
Best tire for spread axle flatbed.

I've found the best option for getting the most mileage from my trailer tires is an automatic air inflation system.
I've used all the major brands. I won't use any tires made in China.
I used recaps a lot on my truck and trailer . I use Firestone now.
Good luckcke, singlescrewshaker and JonJon78 Thank this. -
Ive been running brand new bridgestones r123 . They are chunking and breaking apart after only 9 months or so... horrible.

While I’ve not tried continental myself other than the drives of the company truck I drive for, I've seen many company trailers with the HSR2.
I've been wanting to try them too.cke and singlescrewshaker Thank this. -
