Heard you can get a good meal at Exit 4 Longhorn T.S. Never eaten there. I've stopped there early evenings, and didn't have trouble parking. Another t.s. across I-10, but havn't stopped there.

Loves/ Arbys at exit 7, south side, parking scarce; north side has independent t.s., Burger King near, small casino and eatery border the t.s.

Exit 23 on south side has Winners Choice, casino t.s. heard food is pretty good.

Exit 36 has a Conoco on south side casino and grill there. Daytime lunches are fair.

Kings at exit 43, across from the Loves/Hardees. Have heard lots of people talk about the buffets at Kings. Friday nite is seafood night, and lots of locals go there rather than a "regular" eatery.
Kings parking lot is broken concrete, although they are spot patching. Kings, and Loves parking is kinda hit and miss. Don't know about the showers, as I live about 5 mi. from there, and wife has always let me shower at home before kicking me out.
    Petro #2 at Exit 76
Rice City at Exit 80, excellent food, parking scarce,
Frog City at Exit 86, excellent food, showers, parking usually can be found.
Studebakers at exit 92, excellent food, showers, parking usually not a problem, two t.s. across, but don't know about them.
T/A at 101, never stopped, I know parking is rare., Ditto for the Pilot at the 109.
Year or so back, I have eaten in Henderson couple of times, Exit 115, north of I-10, have to park at t.s., and walk across the hwy. excellent food, bit pricey. Truckstop and offtrack betting combined, place usually has lots of parking, toward the back.

Tiger T.S., Exit 139, south side, heard they had a new chef, and food was pretty darn good, prices ok. Parking scarce late afternoon, till- Lots of regulars will park there waiting out the 5:00 traffic in B.R. Truckstop on north side, better chance at parking, but Subway for eats.

Exit 151, Loves, and independent t.s. on south side, almost across from each other, DO NOT waste your time pulling into the Loves after 5:00- NO parking to be found. Don't know about the independent. North side has a couple of independents across from each other, about 1/2 mile from I-10; Cash's, on the east side of the hwy usually has parking, and has a grill inside, but haven't eaten there, or heard anything about it. I think the other t.s. is just a convience store with diesel pumps and parking for a few trucks.

If anybody would know, it would be droy and he's who I was going to suggest until I saw that he already showed up.

If he remembers, droy knows that, for me, anyone that makes good boudin is where I'll try and wedge a truck into. They used to make fun of me when I was working down there, I ate so much of it. LOL

    LOL, Hello Joel
Forgot about the boudan stops; must be losing touch with my cajun heritage!
Exit 93, south side of I-10, after exiting, cross over highway, head for the light industrial park I guess you would call it. First Turn Cycles, then Feezo's restaurant, Cajun Harley, then Dons Seafood and Steakhouse. Parking for two or three intelligently parked rigs in turnaround tween Cajun Cycles, and Don's. Past Don's is some building construction with parking in the dirt IF it hasn't rained, and you feel like walking. Both Don's and Feezo's rated excellent in local food, I'm told Don's also has a "meat market" adjoining restaurant where they sell great boudan and cracklins. Same exit, north of I-10 1/2 mi. down on left is a store/ meat market named "The Best Stop"; and it is, IMHO; couple of years since I stopped, parking for one big rig, MAYBE, lot usually filled, really need to go in a four wheeler, especially on fresh boudan days. Think they still serve "to go" lunches also.

Ended up stopping at Longhorn. Made it there by 3pm nice parking spot, food was good and since I was able to get back on the road by 1am I was able to cruise through Houston at 3am.
