    Load boards are where you lose your over-books. That’s not the place to source freight. Work with other carriers. You can’t survive anymore without hauling 3rd Party freight, but if you deal with other carriers you cut out the freight pimps. THEY get the loads from the originating carrier, beat all the money out of it, you get the load and all the bills. Why not start at the right end of the horse and call the carriers yourself.

    Loadlink is the only board where you can run consistent. I don't even check anything else. Not sure what the other guy is talking about but I have been using Loadlink for almost a year and there is a lot of money to be made. The carriers do post direct on Loadlink so you are working right for them the majority of the time.

    If I had a more reliable truck I could be taking home $40,000 a month after fuel. My '87 seems to need something repaired after every trip right now...

    Thanks man! Yah, I've been doing just fine using load boards cause I call the broker to negotiate the rate anyhow. Thanks for the feedback!
