I am a ver small operation and only work on weekends after my normal 40 hr a week job. Im hauling cars and equipment on a 36 ft tri axle and am looking for better insurance rates. Looking for 100 k cargo and 200k on cars and 1 million liabilty. Any help on a company that could provide a decent rate would be apprcieated. Unlimited mileaage and using 2011 dodge dually

National Truck Services Group. I've had the same rep since I started in 1996.

I am guessing with just a 2 car trailer and limited time that you plan to run in a very small radius, check progressive, although I don't like or use them I do think they offer a 500 mile plan for what you may be doing

I use Great West, I have a great agent and the HQ is great as well

Great West is a good insurance company to go with. BUT you will need to find a agent to get the quote. You did not mention where you are from, so cannot help.

Also, you probably already know this, but your 40 hours from your day job during the week count against your hours of service in your log book. So if you are traveling more than that 500 mile radius, you are over what is legally allowed.

    Northland insurance..

Ive been with them for a long time. I get good coverage at a fraction of the cost of great west.

My only complaint with Progressive is that they are expensive. I am now with National indemnity.

Progressive gave me a quote of 18k/year to insure a 2013 chevy express 1500, with 1 million liability, 100k cargo. I have 2 points in the last 3 years. kinda absurd.
