Best fuel filters for cat acert

I still run a CAT for the other filter Oscar, in my mind it makes a difference over Fleetgard or Wix.

 

is the fs1212 a replacement for the 1r-0749

 

No its for the water separator on the frame, the 1R-749 is the final filter. I have always ran it as a final from the B all the way to the Acerts. On the B I guess cause its mechanical it really seems more snappy. On the E and the Acert both if I'm out of the 1R 749 and put a other on I get a call that "my truck needs overhead or something" pretty quick after they leave.

 

what i mean is the same thread on both, that i can just screw off and screw on

 

the 175-2949 cat separator filters r kinda off budget for a few months so wanna try the fs1212

That's not the filter you should be running on an Acert anyway, you want the 256-8753

is the fs1000 the longer version of the fs1212, ok i read the post abt the fs 1000, its a no no

 

They say it is but they just dont seem do as well
