I usually travel from west(Oregon) to east(NY,PA,VA) via I-80 or I-90.
Through which state would I get the best deal,or it's all the same?
As I understand, the only option for me would be prepaid account which doesn't qualify for volume discounts.
How big are those discounts? Because, even though,I prefer to be independent,I have am option of going through my dispatch's fleet,if it's decent discount

I do the prepaid business plan option, automatically replenishes off your account, quick and easy. Not sure of the discounts but you can check the rates on there web sight vs. what your dispatches fleet would pay.

If you have PrePass you can setup that also for the tolls along with the scales. Your not going to get much of a discount and watch out. They will go into your credit card or checking account to replenish depending on your history. They took $500 from me which was ridiculous thinking I was now running the East Coast non stop because I was there for a week. I took all my credit card info off and now do it manually.

Prepass + is the prepass/ezpass combo, but it requires 3 trucks...
You cannot buy an ezpass for a semi-truck at the service areas in PA -- and the gal at the counter believed you couldn't buy them for a semi at a service plaza in any state -- you have to send away for it.Skate-Board Thanks this. -
Didn't know about the 3 truck thing. Ya, I had to order my Ezpass for the truck. Battery lasted since 2006 and just got a new fancy one. It now beeps the same for all scale houses. My old one had all sorts of different beeps. I didn't know if I was coming or going.

Best Pass has decent discounts for NY thruway tolls and NYC area bridges if you run there much. They are a division of the NY Motor Carriers Association.
