Payette is right on the border with Oregon right? I know Ore-Ida has a plant there, maybe they have driving jobs available.

    Central Oregon Truck Company.

As Stew209 posted; check with Ore-Ida and ask which carrier is their core carrier. Some of those plants have a dedicated carrier that hauls most of their loads.

You're in the hiring area for this one:
    Interide Transport

    What Interide can offer you:

    • $1500 sign on bonus
    • Pay Scale - 35 to 46 cpm on a variable mileage scale, for all miles
    • Fuel Bonus - We have a new generous scale - $900 bonus per month possible
    • Detention - If billable, $16 per hour after 3 hours
    • Layover - $75 after 24 hrs
    • Breakdown- $75 if in the truck or $50 per day and a hotel room if out of the truck, after 24 hrs.

What do we need from you?

    • Motivation and a good work ethic
    • Age 23 and above
    • Valid CDL for at least three years, with verifiable experience
    • No more than two moving violations in the last three years
    • Interact professionally with customers and clients

Andrus pays nothing. Lessors hires out of Idaho. Start between .35 and .40 per mile, APU and inverter on all trucks. Miles are there plus an opportunity to run for our entertainment division Xtreme.

    Andrus. Wow.

Thank you for your input. I know there is no perfect company out there. Also know there are definitely ones to steer clear of. Again, thank you for your advise. I will look into them.

A driver that lives near me in Las Vegas drives for Andrus and loves the company. Depends on what the driver is comfortable with. I've hauled a couple of those "entertainment" loads and for me, hated it. Some love it; some don't.
