I was wondering if anyone has a favorite brand or style for cold weather gloves. I have the good old 17.99 special from Lowes for mechanic gloves for the warm weather, but hands get cold fast in the cold weather. I'm just thinking that chaining up and cleaning the 5th wheel or sliding tandems is gonna freeze the good old fingers. I have some skiing gloves from the military that we had, leather and gortex, but they are pretty old and don't work all that good now lol.

get x large size regular ole leather gloves from wally world, you know, cheap. then go to your nearest lumber yard and buy a pack of thermo glove liners. I use them working the flat bed all winter and even with arthritis I have no problem. the best ive ever tried.

I use the yellow grip gloves from harbor freight. They are $1.79 where I'm from and in my opinion they are equal to if not better than atlas and the garbage from love's. Very durable and pretty thick. I pull a curtain van and do 5 loads a day. They do the trick. Harbor freight mechanics gloves are pretty cheap too.

$6 or 7 for one pair of grip gloves at love's.

I'm a fan of Duluth Trading Co. gloves. If you can be dextrous in a heavy glove (IE:tie your shoes, light a cigarette, work a combo lock, etc.) they are warm, and have a lifetime guarantee.
