new driver here. Got a bugger of a headcold and going back out tomorrow. What’s your favorite non narcotic cold medicine for driving? Before I started driving I’d just slug DayQuil all day

NyQuil, the knock you out stuff, take at bedtime. Then, during the day, non drowsy Sudefed. Get vitamins, B12, D3, take lots of D3, C and a good multivitamin. If you are older, some Magnesium for the ticker and some Bayer aspirins, take one every morning. Works for me, still kicking after 30 years.
One thing, that Vitamin D3 is really crucial, I swear by that stuff. It is water soluble, so take quite a few, I take like 5 to 10 a morning. You need D.Jwhis Thanks this. -
I keep dayquil and nyquil. pedialyte seems to work too as it keeps you hydrated.

Take Nyquill as soon as you wake up, makes the day more interesting?
Or take a massive dose of Robotssum DM. But remember you can only buy one bottle at a time or DEA will be at your door. -
