I am in NC. I have not been able to figure out how to go to driving school; it is impossible with my work schedule.
Thus, I will be practicing with my septic truck (I can drive on my own land) and then taking the three tests (written, pre-inspection, driving). I only need CDL B's for my truck.
I read online about CDL testing officers who fail everyone on their first attempt at taking the pre-inspection/driving portion of the test. I do not know if this happens in NC or not and I do not have any local knowledge of the various testing officers/facilities.
Thus, does anyone have any experience with better testing locations in the State? Does anyone have any suggestions about officers to avoid?
I can test at any center near Asheville, near Shelby or near New Bern.
Thank you for your help.
