Best brand inverter to buy

From what I have heard none of the inverters sold in truck stops are any good. Something about them having the wrong sine wave. You need to get one at an RV shop and get it professionally installed.

 

I had an older xantrex x power 3000 I used daily for 4 years until 2 years ago. The thing is built like a tank and still works, but new truck has inverter built in.

 

You have to get the big gauge wire and the yellow one in the truck stop 3000 watt works don't use more than 1 thing at a time are you will be calling fire rescue to put out your fire

 

Xantrex is probably the best true sine wave out there. Worth the $$$.

 

I believe most factory installed inverters are xanatrex, fwiw.

 

Most are but are not true sine wave. Heck the inverter that comes with a tri pak is too but it's not true sine either.

 

I have one of these pure sine wave inverters. I use welding cable to supply the power.

Amazon has two brands of pure sine inverters. I use the AIMS brand. Inverter, charger and pass through 110v. Heavy, but worth it.
