I have the Blue Tiger Elite. Works very well and is very durable. I always seemed to be breaking the over the head part of most headsets and don't like the other styles. This one is very strong and I only have to charge it once a week.

Due to refusal to wear one of those over the head units (I'm not a call center tech, also even the lightest pc ones I've used in the past gave me neck pain)
So I used the
Plantronics
Voyager pro
Voyager pro+
Voyager pro HD
Voyager legend pro
Pro and pro+ were awesome, I destroyed or lost them on a 6 month basis but the only thing they weren't fantastic at was high wind (when I say destroy, I mean secure and tarp with it in in soaking rain) noise cancellation was fantastic, it was loud enough to drown out the truck
Then they stopped with those, the legend came on, I hate it, the "intuitive" put it on and it answers calls created problems with the connection on it, also about 50% of calls, I could hear myself talking on a Few millisecond delay, proprietary charger was nice, but battery didn't last
I picked up the pro hd, no talk back but the put on to answer still sucked, then (1 month) they started to mess up the connection 1, in the middle of a call, would just lose bt connection the other would be connected, I make or receive a call, and then turn off bluetooth while connected (like it thought I took it off)
Now I am on a jabra storm and liking it, the form is tiny, cancellation in my 80 db cab flawless when I talk, small amount of background when I'm not talking, hugs ear, never fallen out, half the weight of the Plantronics and weatherproof, even has reasonable wind cancelation.
In sum for my experience
the OLD voyagers (bulb on mic/not red on the inside of boom) were awesome, the new ones suck
I jumped to jabra for a 20$ savings/unit (actually I moved to the storm based on other factors, battery etc and happened to get it cheaper) the drawback is if you Messi up on the road, it's not in ts... plan accordingly -
I have the new 350xt and love it

I have my eye on the Voyager ProHD, but now that you mention the Jabra Storm, I looked it up. The Voyager has a greater positive v. negative review ratio than the Jabra. Maybe you could post something after you've owned the Jabra for a month or so.
I sent for a Motorola HX550 to replace the BP Xpress, because I owned a Motorola H19txt and loved it, until I lost it. That one (the H19txt) worked fine when I was driving the trucks my school has, most of which are super noisy. So, I wonder if the HX550 will work in a newer truck. Maybe I'll keep it; maybe I'll send it back and get the Legend, since I can use it for daily use as well. -
Blue Parrot has some new smaller styles....check em out

Have the blue tiger elite, the sound goes in and out, on both ends, at times I can barely hear the caller and then out off no where it's blasting in my ear, and I get the same complaint from the person I'm talking to, switching back to blue parrot, I'm a gamer so full headsets are what I'm used to, my laptop headset is way bigger than any of these lol

I had the Blue Parrot X-way 2...total JUNK...I had issues with it pairing the 1st time, then if you didn't take it with you when you left the truck and forgot to turn it off, it wouldn't always re-pair without a fight...noise cancelling was acceptable, but not superior. It lasted less than 6 months before I just snapped it in half and tossed it. The final straw was when I tried to re-pair after I forgot it was on and paired...after 15 minutes of unpairing and re-pairing...deleting, pairing new device...everything possible to reconnect it...everything failed....snap....chucked. I will never own any Blue Parrot product again. I went back to my Jabra Supreme....BEST headset I've ever owned. It's light hanging on your ear, it isn't one of those over-the-head mega size headsets that feels like you have those 'studio' headsets on...when not in use, you can hear out of that ear like it's not there, but when you attempt to make a call, it's as if someone cups your ear with their hand and you can hear crystal clear, and the other end can hear you just fine(I think it uses the mic to transmit normal sound when you aren't using it, and cancels it when you make a call). It syncs with your phone's contact list (if you allow it to) so it announces the contact calling, or just announces the number if the incoming call isn't one of your saved contacts. The battery life isn't great, but it charges quick. So every 2nd or 3rd day, just plug it in.

Ive been using the HX550 for years, and in a noisy ### day cab to boot. Better than any Voyager, Jawbone, Blue Ant and everything else I've tried over the years. I refuse to walk around with one of those over the head headsets, you can have them.
Can't beat the performance, never mind the ridiculous price compared to others.

For another $3 it's warranted for 2 years. -
So the HX550 does a good job in daycabs? Do you leave it in your ear and mic open all the time or do you leave it on the dash, hanging up, etc with the mic closed and just put it one when you receive a call? -
I wear it all day long, never take it off or close the mic, and it goes 2 days without a charge. I forget I'm wearing it, I love that it doesn't stick inside my ear. It just lays on the ear, the ear hook takes a couple of days to get used to but after that you forget you have it on.88 Alpha Thanks this.
