I like the RoadKing 400. Have had it since this past February or March. It does a nice job of noise-cancelling. I had the Plantronics Voyager prior to the RK400. The rubber part that goes around the ear on the Plantronics is breaking, but it probably should after 4-5 years. I still use it when I am on my home-time as it is more discreet than the RoadKing. I am not a fan of walking around with the space-cadet headsets while in public, but my RoadKing gets used early and often while I'm in the truck.
As a bonus, the RK400 uses a micro-usb charger as opposed to a proprietary charger that some bluetooths have. -
Yes, if your phone is capable of transmitting that info. But in some cases its brand specific, for example my Motorola Razr-Maxx will NOT talk to my blue parrot,(still not giving up my B250-XT) only Motorola headsets for now. They(Motorola) claim they are working on it but nothing that I know of yet.

I'd be careful on buying any used one, considering the batteries are not replaceable, that I'm away of.
