Something simple but good. I can hear them, they can hear me.
Preferably one that fits over the ear and doesn't have ear buds you have to poke in your ear. Those things never stay in for me. Not a fan of the over-the-whole-head things, bit would take that over the buds.
I'm not a phone talker, so battery life isn't the biggest deal. Just need something that's serviceable from time to time.

You'll get closer to your price range on eBay.

    Personally , Blue parrot.

Buddy has Road King - sounds OK.

I had a cobra - cheap. Poor sound quality.

For $50 I would look I to a wired, non Bluetooth option. Something with good noise canceling and a loud speaker. Most of us only use the headset while in the truck so a wired version wouldn't be a big deal and will hands down out perform anything you can buy Bluetooth for that amount of money.

    blairandgretchen Thanks this.

I have used this set for several years, People can't tell your in the truck, and cost one third of what they sell for in TS's. Battery stays charged for days.

Blue parrot. It cost $100 but it's well worth it. Lasts an entire week with no charging, sounds good, and people can hear you because they have awesome sound canceling.

Yes you can. Only a handful of states don't allow it. When I say handful I mean like 5.
