East of Indy, 642 mile day. I had to run a little harder than I wanted to due to a screwup in my trip plan. Sort of a dumb butt mistake but i recovered from it by keeping my foot in it and the door closed. Still trying to figure out how exactly I'm supposed to unload at 0700, wash ou a trailer, top off a reefer, drive 82 miles and arrive by 0800. I'm pretty good but the impossible is impossible. Dispatchers live in a strange worl in which PC Miler miles are accurate and speed limits don't exist...lol. Perhaps they are aware of a wormhole or some rip inthe space/time continuim that will make all this possible. Unfortunately, this information was not included in my dispatch message so I suppose a I'll just have to do the best I can.

Job description for Truck Driver
Wanted, Truck Driver,
must be good at reading other peoples minds, bonus if you can do that from 1500 miles or more away. Make things seem like magic, pulling various small animals from a wide variety of locations and other illusions as needed.
Good knowledge of advanced pricipals of defying the laws of everyday physics. Basic understanding of rocketry science apllications is needed. Pilots license with endorsements is also very helpful. Must have good customer service skills.Last edited: Feb 18, 2018

Ok, today, so far, I've seen flooding rain...had to take a 30 mile detour...fog that had me slowed down to 10mph and, of course, snow and ice in copious amounts. A 5 hour run took 8 and now I'm setting in a dock for 51 minutes and ain't nothing happened yet.
Preplanned to Russelville, AR so I gotta fight my way out of all this slop again, but at least I'm heading South.
More later...mladen86, Vic Firth, Tug Toy and 1 other person Thank this. -
That's about the best looking road I've seen today. Of course, once you step out on it you realize it's a sheet of ice and you just want to go to bed until May.Airborne, Vic Firth, intrepidor and 2 others Thank this. -
I snapped this photo in Oswego, N.Y. my first winter out OTR. I don't miss driving in that crap one bit whatsoever. Look at the depth of the snow the guy was scrapping off his storage unit roof.
