Some malls are being repurposed as high schools, hospitals or a combination of both.

That thing's a mall? I drive by at four times a week and I thought it was an indoor theme park.

When I lived in China, Walmart Super Center built a place with an indoor amusement park. Even had an indoor bumper car track. Now, the whole place is closed. The building was 4 or 5 floors and Walmart had two of the floors.
A condo tower is at one end of the building, so tenants can shop for about anything without leaving the building. The condos are like hotel suites with a small kitchen. I still own one of those. The bankruptcy didn't affect the condo tower.

I never cared for large indoor malls. With all the theft going on, and what the CEOs of major stores are planning anyhow, bricks and mortar. Indoor shopping is about to become a dinosaur and thing of the past overall. Read an article that target and Walmart are contemplating securing about 35% of their stores maybe even more to where you shop online and the workers bring you your products out to the parking lot. Nobody allowed in the stores. Yes it’s come to that. But as far as malls go? Unless you’re a teenage girl, I just don’t see the appeal.

Walmart here in Las Vegas lets people shop online, then park in designated parking spots and your order will be delivered to your car.

Walmart’s theft is mostly their own fault, with self-check.
