Hello, I have 10 big disks to move, I need ideas on ballast box , I have seen a few but never looked at them as I did not think about it now I need the traction both to hold it on the down hill and the up. What do guys use? Needs to be removable. Was thinking 4-6 k lbs ? I will make it so I can add /remove weight depending on the iron I am pulling.

Will you make it with a kingpin lock or something where it sits over the 5th wheel and then tie on to the frame?
Some states have funny rules about them. I know Ia. does as I was talking with a guy who does pintle hook tow aways and he is Ia. based..
Talk with some of the bigger rigging compaines or the really good specialed guys with push pull operations. -
I was thinking kingpin lock , then a set of legs to the frame to take up the slack. I asked a few outfits but I feel they are scared I am trying to eat there lunch and am shoooed away lol.

A old tanker trailer FT. pin plate with box built into it with out side angle iron that slides over frame while being slide over 5th wheel worked for low/cost when we moved homes with no brakes on dollys 10,000 or 15,000 will keep tires from slide with no anti/lock any where on rig.
