After a million miles, he probably wasn't planning on ever leaving Werner, but he #### sure has a job there for life now if he wants it.

After some whacked out crap like that I'm not sure I'd get back on the road. Maybe a dayliner position, but I don't think I'd ever be able to sleep in the truck again.

 

I’m glad the Driver survived. He’s got a whopper of a Trucker’s story. Starts out “You ain’t gonna believe this ####”. Wow!! He’ll be fine. What’s the chances of anything similar ever happening again.

 

I bet he has more interest in self defense now

 

Lunch counter story that no one will believe…

 

After all the fib tellers at the lunch counter leave an opening he starts- I was taken hostage in my truck that ended up in a shootout with police. Then just goes back to sipping coffee.

 

And he can bring a newspaper article as proof.

 

This really brings to light the topic of what do you do to protect yourself while out on the road? If harm does come your way, are you/will you be ready for it? prepared for it?
