Was doing a little research on this software and was wondering if any of you O/O's or small carrier owners use it. Looks cool, but ya never know until you get straight information from people who may be using it.
Of course, Axon has several videos on certain customers that do all the cheerleading for the program, but how do you trust that, right?
Axon Software, any one using it?

We got a quote from them price is high above $25,000 + software is amazing but they are other options out there for way cheaper for a small carrier.
-
Wow. $25,000. Does it do your laundry to, I wonder? That's a massive amount for software. What are other programs out there? I'm just doing some minor research.

Right now we use Accellos Prophesy On demand (web based version), Aljex is another decent solution how many trucks and what kind of freight do you run? We literally went through a dozen demos with other providers before we made the decision.

Real Time Freight is coming out with a lite version that is geared towards smaller carriers. Most of the other stuff is based on some old technology and they are trying to make it fit or it's priced for carriers our size (and I think it expensive).
Haven't seen ITS Dispatch in a while but I think the RTF lite will replace it once all is launched.Aggravated Owner Thanks this. -
Well, we are in the middle of restructuring and we plan on 5 to 7 trucks. Our current freight is belly dumps hauling sand, but since the oil boom is drawing down, we are about to get our own authority and start pulling flatbeds. Have several direct shippers we are involved in and once we get everything transferred over to run our own authority, we plan on hitting the ground running.
Just reviewing the different software out there to make things in the office a little more streamlined and efficient.BigBadBill Thanks this. -
I use IT Dispatch for 75 a month. It is web based.
here is what it does for us besides saving us 8-10 man hours a week.
I enter or clone the load info. Then I can send the driver a dispatch sheet if I want too.It takes the loads and build a load board for you as you plan your loads.I dispatch them out,and when done i mark them as done.I can print or email off invoices with it too.It figures drivers pay, along with any deductions or extra pay.
Not bad,I like it.
It does not keep up with expenses but it can tell you how much a truck, driver,or trailer makes you.It has other features too. -
itsdispatch, it's simple and inexpensive, nothing fancy like axon but it does the job

I called them one time reason they are so high they don't cater to small outfits its mostly the big carriers so that's why there so high your better off going with trucker helper its the cheapest one and have a really nice interface. and is only like $24 a month and can handle big carriers as well as 1 truck owner operator.
it has better interface then ITS-dispatch and nicer features at a fraction of the cost
