AVOID S&S Transport

The freight market is horrible right now and summer is hard for north dakota carriers with potatoes and suger being out of season and no turkeys to haul out of nw Minnesota.
That area is tough during summer in the best of times .

 

Maybe some have seen the writing on the wall and are not waiting for the text message that the company is kaput and your paycheck will bounce higher than a "Superball".

 

I like S&S. I get great miles, decent pay, friendly people, and they know my name. I'm not sure why you had issues and not saying it's not true but I'll tell any driver all companies are the same they just package things differently. You have to find the package for you. And I also say that a lot of times it's not the company it's a driver issue. Might you be to blame for some of your unhappiness with S&S? I don't sit waiting for loads, I do not personally care about satellite TV as I'm too tired after driving to bother much so that doesn't bother me. I run off recap a lot and my checks reflect this. I feel appreciated and I give and get respect. As for safety personal name a company out here that the safety personal is friendly ill wait lol. Its like they all hate everyone so I wouldn't take it personally and if your not screwing up they don't bother you. Good luck! I'm staying here and I'll keep making my decent checks, riding with my dog, going home and getting my guarantee pay that I earn. Especially since they only ask you to do 10,500 miles a month that is less then 2700 a week and if they took you off you was not meeting the quota. Might need to leave that TV alone and do what you want to be paid for.

 

Don’t know much about them but I always thought their equipment looked decent going down the road.

An alleged happy driver creates an account. On the exact same day happens upon a negative S&S thread, makes one reply post defending the honor of the company. In way to wordy a fashion, I add. Then only makes their second post when called out as a snoop.

That dog....don't hunt!

Look, we see it all the time. We know it happens. We know companies snoop. Maybe if you take what read/ hear from truckers to heart, your company will be more attractive. Tirades defending a company makes you look foolish. But hey, free country.

You all can think what you like. Yes profile is new, yes I came across the post and replied, yes I am happy here at S&S, yes that is my dog in the truck I drive for S&S, yes you'll see the same pup in a photo on thier page under a request for pixs of our riding buddies, ive been out here going on 26 years and have worked at a lot of companies and so far I'm happy here. Yall take it how you like I say look at yourself before you bash a company. Most the time the fault is with the complainers. With that I'm out and will not reply more to this bs! I'm busy making my money.
