What do you guys think is about the average life of a clutch. Mine is an Eaton Autoshift 10 speed with 650k miles on it. Other than changing the transmission fluid at 500k miles what other maintenance should be done on a transmission to keep it in good shape for the long haul?

Not sure on the Eaton but on a IShift you change oil at 500K and they are expected to last 1Mil plus. Warranty is up to 5 years/. 750,000 Miles.
Added: Clutch is about the same but depends on how a person drives to be honest.Soltaker, 77fib77, RunningAces and 1 other person Thank this. -
I've been looking into it a bit and it looks like a few guys change their air pressure regulator because it is relatively easy to do. It's supposed to get gunked up after years of use which can lead to hard shifting.

The truck I drive has an automatic 12 spd and today it gave up the ghost I believe it needs a clutch at least I hope that is all sounds like the throw out bearing is gone a lot of squealing coming from the transmission when it tries to get into gear and now has codes on dash all with a 138000 miles on it and I just got it out of the shop 10 days ago and had it checked out because it was throwing codes and here I sit.
I wish this truck had a 13 spd manual instead77fib77, Opendeckin and RunningAces Thank this. -
I was looking at going to a super condo but someone told me my 2016 is worth 10k right now, mostly due to manual transmission -
Clutch will last about as long as a standard if you have the eaten fuller advance.. replacement cost will be about the same as a standard because it uses the same clutch.
You will most likely need a new X-Y shifter around 700k-800k... as soon as it starts to shift funny or make a loud click in 1 or more gear changes.Siinman Thanks this. -
Well my truck will be getting a new clutch this week 138000 miles on it hopefully it will be done by Friday
It was running great then out of the blue it started squealing from the throw out bearing and putting up codes on the dash.Siinman Thanks this. -
