He forgot to Crisco the trailer top, huh? Getting pretty common.

What is the posted max height?

Looking ar Street View looks to be signed at 14' 2"
Big Don Thanks this. -
Looks like the trailer cleared it fine, it was some of the scrap sticking out over the top that got caught up on the bridge.

They were saying on the cb they closed the highway when they moved the truck out from underneath it.

...would be nice if they'd have signs indicating which lanes go to the upper vs lower level. I like running up over the top (much better view), but ALWAYS seem to end up in the wrong lane.
Lepton1 Thanks this. -
Looks like it was a trash/scrap hauler who didn't tamp down his load? Also, doesn't look like it was the lower level of the split I35 section but an actual underpass.

One time,on a Friday afternoon, never again, made a bad day in Chicago seem almost good in comparison.
3 hours stop and go and I went low, the guy ahead went high, and I came out of it just ahead of him with 1 between us.
A guy coming the other way, hollering on the cb, "Which lane?"and it made not a bit of difference.
