    Anybody drive for either company!
I ended up like both but not sure which one should go with.
Both OTR 3 Weeks driving minimum
The Ashley no touch called PTP not the LTL one..

I know one is DryVan and the other Reefer
Good companies but I’m seeking more opinions and suggestions

    Thanks

Read on another post a gentleman that is on the PTP With Ashley seems pretty happy, sounds like you pick up at a DC and either go to other dcs or drop yards
    Post Was from 2021
I HAVE NOT driven for either just from what I’ve read on here

If you have a choice -- I would suggest the job with Ashley.

The "misery index" with that one will be A LOT lower.

Reefer jobs will (in many cases) prevent you front getting a good night's sleep. :(

    Among other things.

My best friend works for Ashley ptp is just driving mostly out all week.Regional or LTL side is out all week also mostly but pays about 10 to 15 thousand more a year with close to half the mileage good benefits .Frymiller has been around forever never anything bad about them. But me personally I would much rather work for a private carrier like Ashley then a run anything anywhere company

The thing I found with Ashley is the one I’m talking to is Ashley PNW and I found out is not the same as Ashley Furniture or Ashley distribution.
They are all 3 different Ashley’s with the same name
And that actually threw me off cause I’ve read the PNW not the good one

If anyone has an information about that would be really helpful.

This particular Ashley PNW branch runs everything like a typical trucking company not just furniture like Ashley Furniture.

Many grocery warehouses unload perishables in wee hours of morning.
I liked doing produce and did it for years. Meat and beer not so much.

From what you've said about ashley.i would pick them. However, a recruiters job is to get you in the door. And perhaps.... and this rarely happens in trucking.... they might sugar coat things or really have no idea about the job if they never done it and are merely saying what they have been told to say. Or maybe, just maybe will lie to get you in the door... welcome to trucking !
